Latin American Heritage month

My name is Monica, this month is Latin American Heritage month, I am from Colombia and I am very proud of my roots.

I live in England and I work for Sony in the procurement team…and of course, Spanish is my first language. Having an accent haasn’t made it any easier, it has been a long journey to be where I am today and I’m sure it may have been the same for many of you. But, if you have an accent, no matter where you come from, be proud of it because it only means that you took the time and effort to learn a second language.

You probably work in another language or live in a different country. I just want to say, let’s celebrate our Latin American Heritage month and be proud of it!
